Who We Are
About Us
Established in 2021, Finer Side Woodworking was created to bring glory to God alone through the detailed work we produce and the client experience we provide.
Our core values guide our daily operations:
⋅ The same attitude of humble excellence is pursued in all areas of the business, from the product to the paperwork.
⋅ A primary goal is to continually edify ourselves and our clients, with integrity interwoven into all of our interactions. We stay current with industry trends and new methods and materials.
⋅ Attention to detail is our distinguishing mark, and we strive to create a setting where care for these details is expected by our clients, required by our projects, and achieved by our people.
Core Values
Humble Excellence: Pursuing outstanding quality and client experience in every area while maintaining a spirit of humility.
Interwoven Integrity: Displaying honesty, respect, transparency, and clear expectations in all business dealings and client interactions.
Continual Edification: Sharing what we’ve learned and learning new things; ongoing personal and corporate development.
Distinguished Detail: Planning for the smallest of details makes all the difference in the finished product.

About The Founder
Get To Know Collin
Collin Henrie, who has been described as a “lifelong learner,” was first drawn to the field of woodworking because of its many specialties to explore and skills to hone. He saw fine woodworking as a combination of aesthetic beauty, tight tolerances, and process efficiencies, all things he’s passionate about. A wide horizon for creativity and the discovery of inlay and marquetry were fuel for that fire.
His training in fine woodworking began in 2009 and includes a degree in Cabinetmaking and Furniture Making from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. For nearly a decade since then, he’s held roles in shop, field, office, and management settings. These experiences fostered Collin’s desire to create Finer Side Woodworking, a company that focuses on continually developing our people, product, and process: who we are, the things we make, and how we make them.
