Our Build Process
1. Initial Contact
You reach out to us via the contact form on our website or by phone, email, or social media to begin discussing the project you have in mind.
2. Information Gathering
We correspond with you over a phone call or email to gather some more details about your project, such as inspiration photos or sketches, design drawings, your expectations, timelines, etc. to ensure that we are a good fit for both you and your project. This is a complementary service and would not incur any fees.
Once we mutually decide to proceed, and, if deemed necessary, we’ll set up a consultation meeting to get to know you, your aesthetic styles, the demands of your project, and the space it will be designed to fill. The goal of this meeting is to gather enough details to assemble a proposal. We believe in-person meetings are the best way to review this type of information, with virtual meetings and phone calls also being acceptable. This meeting would incur a fee, which would be credited toward the overall value of your project should you choose to proceed with our proposal.
3. Confirm Contract
We will present you with a proposal for the project. Should you wish to proceed, a down payment will be requested to begin work, and your project can be placed on our schedule at this time.
4. Project Approvals
We will begin producing shop drawings and samples of your desired finishes. We will send you the drawings and finish samples for approval or correction, and we’ll make any necessary changes. The first round of revisions is included in our proposal, but any subsequent changes would require a change order.
Once the drawings and finishes are approved, the materials and hardware can be ordered and the project schedule confirmed.
5. Build, Finish, and Package
As materials and hardware arrive, they will be checked against what was ordered for quality and quantity. As production begins, your project really starts to take shape. Throughout the build and finishing processes we will provide you with progress photos and will request your permission before posting them on our social media accounts or website.
After the finish has cured, we package the project as required. Photos will be taken during each step of the packaging process for documentation and to protect all parties involved.
6. Delivery and Installation
At this time, the completed piece will be shipped, delivered, or picked up depending on your preference and what was outlined in our initial proposal.
If it is a built-in piece, we will begin installation and provide you with progress photos of this process as well.
7. Project Follow Up
Around 30 days after project completion, we will reach out to you to ensure your piece is meeting, if not exceeding, your expectations. We will also request feedback and a review.
